Merhba f’Senglea

The smallest of the three fortified towns of Malta, known as the Three Cities, Senglea offers a wealth of activities. Dynamic daily life flows through its narrow streets which are full of character. Among the activities hosted by the city are the popular Regattas (traditional boat races) on the 31st of March.
On the 7th June, it’s the perfect place for watching the Sette Guino fireworks over the Grand Harbour. During the City Feast on the 8th of September, Senglea is lavishly decorated and sparkles with lights and fireworks.
The Maritime Festival in September, two weeks after the City Feast, celebrates diverse cultural traditions featuring artists, craftspeople, chefs, dancers, musicians with its history and close relationship with the sea.
Senglea is a distinctive place with a happy social atmosphere and simple way of life. During summer evenings, families and young people converge onto the promenade in the heart of the Grand Harbour, to chat, eat and drink the hours away.
Senglea has a truly distinctive charm, it is a place for romantic enchantment surrounded by an unequalled maritime environment.
