Boutique accommodation born of the owners’ love of Malta and their passion for art. The Snop House occupies a classic Maltese building, beautifully renovated and modernized yet retaining its character and soul.
Each part of the house is a creation deemed to captivate the imagination and the curiosity of the guests to one or more of the multifaceted features of Malta.
A single stay will not allow the guests to discover all the secrets of The Snop House!
I had a great time at the Snop House. It’s a really lovely hotel, probably one of the best in Malta. The location is fantastic, making it easy to walk or take a boat to the main sights around the Valetta grand harbor area. If you prefer, the hotel can also arrange a taxi for you.
My room was wonderful, with a classy and stylish vibe, and the bathroom was really nice too. The staff were super helpful in helping me plan guided tours and excursions.
What wonderful owners with such a great sense of hospitality! It was such a pleasure to interact with the local staff, all from Senglea, who were extremely helpful and kind. The guest house is situated right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of the other three cities and the ferry to Valetta (a must-do crossing of the Grand Harbor).
The bedroom is absolutely magnificent and perfectly designed to ensure a wonderful stay. We will definitely be recommending this guest house and plan on returning for our next trip.
Senglea, Destination of Excellence
As the smallest of the three fortified towns of Malta, known as the Three Cities, Senglea offers a wealth of activities. A dynamic daily life flows through its narrow streets, which are full of character. Among the activities hosted by the city are the popular Regattas (traditional boat races) on the 31st of March.
On the 7th June, it’s the perfect place for watching the Sette Guino fireworks over the Grand Harbour. During the City Feast on the 8th of September, Senglea is lavishly decorated and sparkles with lights and fireworks. The Maritime Festival in September, two weeks after the City Feast, celebrates diverse cultural traditions featuring artists, craftspeople, chefs, dancers, musicians, with its history and close relationship with the sea.
Senglea is a distinctive place with a happy social atmosphere and simple way of life. During summer evenings, families and young people converge onto the promenade in the heart of the Grand Harbour, to chat, eat and drink the hours away.
Senglea has a truly distinctive charm, it is a place for romantic enchantment surrounded by an unequalled maritime environment.
The Snop House offers six luxury-designed bedrooms, two on each floor, all serviced by a lift and by a magnificent internal staircase.
Each room is different, with a mix of contemporary art and timeless designer furniture, and invites you, through the wink of an artistic eye, to discover some part of the history, culture, environment, or traditions of Malta.
Timouzokro
The theme of this room is mare nostrum, the Mediterranean Sea. Overlooking the grand square and the main street, the room benefits from a typical covered wooden balcony (galleria) of Malta. The decoration invites to embrace Malta through its marine history and environment.
Cabrighar
The room’s theme is spirituality. The room benefits from a small classic balcony with a beautiful view of the Three Cities and a distant sea view. It is the perfect place to enjoy the sunrise and for a honeymoon or wedding anniversary !
