Unforgettable stay in this” Museum” guest house where we were able to appreciate magnificent works, perfectly integrated into the spirit of Valletta 2018, capital of the European culture.  Incredible and original concept that these captions under the artworks in our room to favor an initiation to the beauties of Malta.

Charming and thoughtful hosts allowed us to taste the enjoyments of the archipelago.

Nothing but happiness. Long life to The Snop House in where the owners had taken particular care to give a unique “soul” to the premises!
A stunning  place exuding serious class, refinement, elegance, understatement in its design, as well technical sophistication.

We have the opportunity to come regularly to Malta, and we chose to stay this time in the 3 cities in search of a more authentic place. We fell on The Snop House who had just opened its doors, it was the real enjoyment and the incredible good discovery…
The hotel is a former social club counting 6 bedrooms with bathroom, recently restored and decorated with a concern of small details which make the difference.

Everything was organized to make you the stay comfortable and to give you the envy to discover and to like Malta. A decoration to take the breath away of you which suggests in to make discoveries.

We stayed in the bed room Sylolpasso on the 1st floor provided with a traditional Maltese balcony (even the name invites in the journey!), we were fooled by artworks in the room, by the sweetness of sheets and towels, by the quality of the bedding, by the international grips and usb allowing us to connect without adapter, and by numerous small details: selection of herb teas and organic teas, slippers with the logo, the bottles water Snop House, the Nespresso capsules to savor a coffee  on the terrace floor (a must !) . The breakfast is served on the ground floor, even in the patio according to the weather, is the opportunity to discover the regional products from Gozo: just a delight and organic!
Other positive point of this hotel, it is desk clerks’ team: Manuel and Mario capable of sharing full of anecdotes on the life in the city and surroundings and always of very good advice and tuned to our diverse questioning… We shall return, it is sure, just only to discover the other rooms!.

A refuge fully magic t in the middle of the big harbour of Valletta giving to the dreams of journey bathed by a quite particular maritime atmosphere between Europe and Africa, to take itself for enigmatic Corto Maltese, the hero of Hugo Pratt, or to relive the adventures of Mattias Tannhauser, hero of Tim Willocks’s fantastic book. Lots of good vibrations in this hotel so different, and which tempts to return there often!

My husband and I spend 4 nights here for discovering Valetta 18. What lovely owners with a such great sense of hospitality. What a so big pleasure to interact with local staff (all from the village) extremely helpful and kind. The guest house is in the core of the village and walking distance from the others 3 cities and from the ferry to Valetta (a cross of the grand harbor not to be missed). The bedroom is definitively magnificent, and perfectly designed to make you have a wonderful stay. We will definitely be recommending this guest house and will plan on returning for our next trip.

I spent 3 days and 2 nights in The SNOP House with my wife for a romantic escape during our visit of Malta. We heard of this place by some friends and couldn’t believe how perfect the place was when we got there.
We were welcomed by what seemed to be the owner, Olivier, and some of the staff members, Manuel, as if we were usual guests they hadn’t seen in a long time.
We were offered drinks and seats in the living room, that left us some time to adapt to the beauty of the place, a human size hotel with all the modern comfort.
Everything was perfectly decorated and with very good taste.
We were brought to our rooms on the first floor with a large internal balcony over looking the patio, which gave a better perspective of the whole place. Our room had a double bed, we had our own bathroom and shower all perfect set (travertino tiles, design appliances).
During our stay we enjoyed fabulous breakfast with unbelievable jams realized with fresh products grown and harvested within the Island Region of Gozo. A real relaxing start of the day with the local news journal !
We will definitely come back since we are now part of the Snop ‘s family (loyalty program) !
