The inaugural edition of The Malta Biennale, titled “baħar abjad imsaġar taż- żebbuġ- White Sea Olive Groves“, invites art enthusiasts and cultural explorers to Malta from March 13th to May 31st, 2024. This international art festival will showcase contemporary art across multiple venues, including Valletta, Gozo, and The Three Cities (Cottonera), transforming these historical sites with innovative exhibitions, interventions, and performances.

All Cottonera locations are conveniently reachable within a 5 to 10-minute walk from The Snop House. For visits to Valletta, ferries depart every 30 minutes from Cottonera, with a quick 10-minute journey to the Maltese capital. If you wish to explore Gozo, fast ferry service adjacent to the Valletta Ferry landing will transport you to the sister island in just 45 minutes.
